Choose your men's winter gloves or mittens
- Hand-stitched sheepskin gloves: Classic and Signature gloves offer separate fingers for everyday tasks. Classic comes in Brown, Black and Dark Grey with a turned-and-stitched cuff; Signature Grey Brown (Mole) has leather-bound cuffs and a water- and stain-resistant treatment. The treatment applies only to Signature and is not waterproof.
- Sheepskin leather gauntlet mittens: Our men's Nappa sheepskin leather mittens combine a smooth black leather outer, natural wool inside and longer gauntlet cuffs. The leather and wool are two sides of the same sheepskin, not a separate fabric lining.
- Traditional sheepskin mittens: Choose our Premium 100% Sheepskin Mittens for a classic winter style with fingers sharing one warm space. Check the product page for current sizes and colours.
- Cashmere-lined leather gloves: For a smooth black finish and a closer-fitting style, explore our men's lambskin leather gloves with 100% cashmere lining. These have a separate cashmere lining rather than the natural wool interior of shearling.

Nursey has worked with sheepskin and leather since 1846. Our Premium 100% Sheepskin Mittens and wrist warmers are handmade in our Suffolk workshop; the Classic and Signature gloves, Nappa gauntlet mittens and cashmere-lined gloves are made outside the UK by skilled makers selected to meet our standards of craftsmanship and classic British design.
What is genuine shearling?
Shearling is sheepskin with its natural wool still attached to the hide. The wool provides a soft, insulating interior, while the outer can have a suede or smooth leather finish. Check the individual description to distinguish genuine shearling from leather with a separate lining.
Gloves or mittens for winter?

Are all men's gloves and mittens made in Britain?
No. Our Premium 100% Sheepskin Mittens and wrist warmers are handmade in Suffolk. Classic and Signature gloves, Nappa gauntlet mittens and cashmere-lined leather gloves are made by selected skilled makers outside the UK.
Are Classic and Signature gloves both hand-stitched?
Yes. Both are hand-sewn genuine sheepskin. Signature has leather-bound cuffs and a water- and stain-resistant treatment; Classic has a turned-and-stitched cuff without that added treatment.
Are sheepskin and cashmere-lined leather gloves the same?
No. Double-faced sheepskin has natural wool attached to the hide. Our cashmere-lined leather gloves have a lambskin leather outer and a separate 100% cashmere lining.
How do I choose my glove size?
Measure around the widest part of your palm, excluding the thumb, and follow the size guide for the particular product. Sizes and availability differ between the styles.
