Both finishes are hand-sewn in genuine sheepskin. Classic has a traditional turned-and-stitched cuff, while Signature offers a premium finish with leather-bound cuffs and a water- and stain-resistant treatment.

Real sheepskin gloves for everyday winter warmth

In double-faced sheepskin, the suede outer and wool interior are two sides of the same hide. Often called shearling, this is different from a leather glove with a separate fabric lining.

The natural wool sits against your hands, while the suede and hand-sewn stitching give these winter gloves their traditional appearance. Wear them with a wool coat, quilted jacket or your everyday winter layers.

Classic or Signature?

Classic: traditional sheepskin, simply finished

Our Classic gloves combine hand-sewn sheepskin with a turned-over, stitched cuff. They are a straightforward choice for those who prefer a traditional glove without the additional leather trim or protective treatment.

Choose men's black sheepskin gloves for a simple everyday colour, Brown for a warmer shade, or Dark Grey for an understated alternative. Classic is available in Small, Medium and Large only; as with all natural sheepskin, small differences in shade and texture are part of the material.

Signature: premium leather-bound cuffs and added protection

Our Signature gloves pair hand-sewn sheepskin with leather-bound cuffs, a premium detail that gives the wrist a neatly tailored finish. A water- and stain-resistant treatment adds protection, while the Grey Brown shade, also known as Mole, complements both town and country winter wardrobes.

This finish is available in L, XL and XXL only. The treatment is water resistant, not waterproof, and applies only to Signature gloves.

We work with skilled glove makers who create classic British designs to meet our high standards of craftsmanship. Made outside the UK, these hand-sewn gloves are selected for the Nursey collection for their quality materials and careful finishing.

Frequently asked questions

Are both finishes hand-stitched?

Yes, both Classic and Signature gloves are hand-sewn in genuine sheepskin. The finish names distinguish their cuff details and protective treatment, not hand stitching from machine stitching.

Are all the gloves water resistant?

Only Signature gloves have the added water- and stain-resistant treatment. Classic gloves do not have this coating, and neither finish is described as waterproof.

What are shearling gloves?

Shearling describes sheepskin with the wool still attached to the skin. Both finishes here use genuine double-faced sheepskin, rather than faux sheepskin or a separate synthetic fleece lining.

Which men's sheepskin gloves come in Small, Medium and Large?

Choose Classic in Dark Grey, Brown or Black. Signature Grey Brown (Mole) is offered in Large, XL and XXL only.

Is Grey Brown the same colour as Mole?

Yes. Grey Brown (Mole) is the Signature colour; the clearer colour name does not indicate a different shade. Classic Dark Grey is a separate colour and finish.
